Juniper Shieldbug on the March:
In past few days I've found four specimens of Juniper Shieldbug Cyphostethus tristriatus at two different locations in Cheshire. This species is spreading following a dietary switch to garden relatives of the Juniper. I found three in a Leylandii.
At the moment its distribution is primarily southern England but it appears to be establishing itself in our region. Take a stick, take a sheet, take a look. see if you can find it.
