The Killer Shrimp - Dikerogammarus villosus:
Dikerogammarus villosus, (Sowinsky, 1894) - NHMSYS0020475521 - crustacean
The freshwater shrimp Dikerogammarus villosus (the Killer Shrimp) has been found in Grafham Water, Cambridgeshire. Apparently this is a highly invasive non-native shrimp from the Ponto-Caspian region, it is considerably larger than our native species and much more aggressive.
