Dreary....

So after the Lord Mayor's Show that was July, with its 213 species in our garden trap, comes August, with just 24 to date. True we've been away, but even so, so few species with a third of the month over is undoubtedly poor! Last night was literally a wash-out what with the rainstorms, so no new species for either the month or the year were added.
Our figures for August range from a minimum of 64 species, an average of 107 and a maximum of 157, so we've plenty to go at!
