Last Moth of 2021

Happy New Year to All.
In December 2020 I trapped on 6 occasions and I recorded 10 moths of 5 species.
In December 2021 I trapped on 14 nights, obviously tempted by the numerous ‘warm’ nights and I recorded 16 moths of 7 species.
On the last three nights when the minimum temperature recorded was 10.1 deg. C, I recorded only 1 moth.
That came last night (31/12/2021 - min. temp. 11.5 deg. C) I recorded 1 Common Quaker. My previous earliest record of Common Quaker was 23/01/2008.
Good to see a few late moths, but still disappointing that the warm nights didn’t produce a few more.
