Tongue of bee . . .:
Not sure if Macbeth's witches threw one of these into their cauldron, but it's an impressive organ and I never knew it could split into two like this. Is this a common feature among hymenopterans?
By the way, before I put it on RODIS, can anyone confirm . . . B.hortorum? Female?
