Speckled Bush-cricket:
I had a text from Andy Harmer today to let me know that along with Clive Washington (Clive using his "super-sucker") he had found a Speckled Bush-cricket at Rocksavage today (Sunday 22nd July). This constitutes the first record for Cheshire and Wirral in recent years, certainly the first record on the county database for Orthoptera . An earlier record on the NBN site has yet to validated.
Obviously it is one to look for out elsewhere in the region.
