The Cheshire Moth Group (CMG) was formed in 2000 and was, basically, an informal group of friends with a common interest - love of the outdoors and moths in particular. We have a wide range of experience, from total novices to seasoned veterans and keep in touch regularly (see below). Our area of interest is Vice County (VC58) Cheshire.
Moth records can be submitted to the Cheshire Moth Group via various means:
Records can be sent directly to the moth group county recorders or RECORD - records area regularly exchanged between the two.
The moth group have an active and welcoming Facebook Group which you can join. We also have a Moth Forum. These channels provide the opportunity to post notes of your moth recent sightings, upload photos and seek help in identifying those difficult species.
